An accounting firm approached T1 Atlas with a vision for creating a more transparent and efficient M&A marketplace. We are building a platform where buyers and sellers can discover opportunities, securely exchange information, execute NDAs, manage data rooms, and use data-driven matching to find better-fit transactions.
THE VISION
A Bigger Stage for a Passion
Unbridled began with an accounting firm's firsthand understanding of how difficult and opaque the lower-middle-market M&A process can be for both buyers and sellers.
The vision was to create more than another listing site. Sellers needed access to understandable services and a simpler way to prepare and present opportunities, while buyers needed better information and more relevant opportunities.
T1 Atlas worked with the team to translate that vision into a focused digital marketplace centered around connection, transparency, secure information exchange, and intelligent matching.
The initial web application is being completed through an approximately month-long development project, with a mobile application planned to follow.
THE CHALLENGE
Turning Passion Into a Platform
M&A transactions involve sensitive information, fragmented communication, qualification challenges, confidentiality requirements, and significant friction in connecting the right buyer with the right seller. The platform needed to simplify that process without eliminating the controls and trust required for a transaction.
THE BUILD
A Complete System
T1 Atlas is developing the buyer and seller marketplace, account and opportunity workflows, secure data-room functionality, NDA processes, information sharing, and the platform's core matching system. The matching experience uses company data and insights to surface more relevant buyer-seller relationships rather than relying solely on manual discovery.
THE OUTCOME
A Strong Start.
The initial web application is nearing completion following an approximately one-month development cycle, with mobile development planned as the next phase. The platform establishes the infrastructure for Unbridled to test a more transparent, data-driven approach to connecting M&A buyers and sellers.
