About T1 Atlas
General
T1 Atlas is a company-building and execution partner for founders. We help entrepreneurs validate ideas, build products, launch companies, create growth systems, and solve the operational challenges that emerge as a business develops. Our capabilities span strategy, technology, product, launch, growth, automation, and execution.
T1 Atlas was built from firsthand founder experience. Our founder, Daniel Krikorian, experienced how easy it is to spend time and money solving the wrong problems, build too much too early, or hire specialists without having someone looking at the entire company. T1 was created to become the kind of partner he wished he had while building his own companies.
Vision to Venture represents the journey from an idea to an operating business. A vision creates the destination, but turning it into a venture requires validation, decisions, people, technology, systems, and disciplined execution. T1 Atlas helps founders navigate that journey.
Traditional agencies typically begin with the service they sell. We begin with the company. Before deciding what should be built, marketed, automated, or changed, we work to understand where the company is, what has already been proven, and what is preventing progress.
Consultants can provide valuable strategy and recommendations, but founders are often left responsible for executing those recommendations themselves. T1 Atlas is designed to bridge that gap. We can help determine what needs to happen and provide the people and capabilities to help execute it.
We work with companies across industries and at different stages, from founders validating an initial concept to established businesses modernizing their systems or creating new products. We care less about fitting a company into a category than understanding whether we can meaningfully help move it forward.
How We Work
Our Process
We begin by understanding the founder, company, opportunity, current stage, objectives, and obstacles. From there, we determine what needs to happen next and create an appropriate path forward. Depending on the company, that can involve strategy and validation, product development, launch, growth, or a combination of capabilities.
Founder Formula is the structured company-building methodology we use to help founders move through the stages of Strategy & Validation, Prototype & Build, Launch, Grow, and Scale. It provides structure around priorities, ownership, outputs, and what should be true before a company advances.
We look at what the company has already proven, where uncertainty remains, what resources exist, what the founder is trying to accomplish, and what is currently preventing progress. The goal is to identify the highest-leverage next step rather than simply creating a longer list of things to do.
Neither automatically. We start with the problem. Sometimes the right next step is validation. Sometimes it is technology, positioning, automation, customer acquisition, or operational infrastructure. Sometimes the best recommendation is to avoid building anything yet.
No. Companies enter at different points. An existing business may already have a validated product and need growth infrastructure, while another founder may need to validate an idea before investing in development. We meet the company where it actually is.
We focus on proving what needs to be true before adding complexity. Instead of beginning with the largest possible version of an idea, we identify what can validate the underlying assumptions, create meaningful progress, and provide information for the next decision.
Very involved. We can take significant execution off a founder's plate, but we aren't trying to remove the founder from the company-building process. The founder's knowledge, decisions, customer understanding, and vision remain critical.
What We Do
Capabilities
Our team can develop websites, MVPs, web applications, mobile applications, internal platforms, marketplaces, customer portals, automations, integrations, e-commerce systems, event platforms, subscription products, and other digital infrastructure. But we determine what should be built before deciding how to build it.
No. Technology is one capability within a much larger company-building system. We can also support strategy, validation, positioning, product planning, launch infrastructure, customer journeys, marketing systems, automation, operations, and growth.
Yes. MVP development is a significant part of our work, particularly when a founder needs to turn a larger idea into something that can be tested with actual customers. Our focus is on building enough to prove the important assumptions without unnecessarily building the entire future company on day one.
Absolutely. In many cases, that's the best time to involve us. We can help clarify the problem, customer, opportunity, business model, positioning, product requirements, and assumptions that should be validated before significant development begins.
Yes. We don't automatically recommend rebuilding something because another developer created it. We can evaluate what's already there and determine what should be kept, improved, integrated, simplified, or replaced.
Yes. Depending on the engagement, we can help with positioning, customer journeys, websites, lead generation infrastructure, CRM, email and text automation, analytics, conversion systems, content infrastructure, and other components supporting acquisition and growth.
Yes. We can examine repetitive processes, customer communication, lead management, internal workflows, and disconnected software to identify opportunities for consolidation and automation.
Yes. Some clients engage T1 for a specific project, while others continue working with us through retainers, ongoing development, technology leadership, optimization, or broader company-building support.
Working Together
Engagements
No. T1 can support one specific need or multiple connected areas. The scope should reflect what your company actually requires rather than forcing every founder into the same package.
Engagements can range from focused strategy or development projects to MVP builds, ongoing retainers, technology leadership, growth and automation work, and more integrated company-building engagements.
It depends on the scope. We've brought focused MVPs and products through initial development in approximately four to six weeks, while more complex platforms and company-building engagements may continue for several months or longer.
Pricing depends on the problem, scope, resources, complexity, and level of ongoing support required. Because companies come to us at very different stages, we prefer to understand what actually needs to happen before recommending an engagement and price.
Yes. Retainers can make sense when a company requires ongoing technology, execution, optimization, strategy, or scaling support rather than a defined one-time project.
Absolutely. We can collaborate with internal employees, developers, marketing teams, agencies, advisors, investors, and other partners. We don't need to replace strong resources that are already working.
We look at the company, challenge, founder expectations, timing, resources, and whether our capabilities can genuinely create value. We're also looking for founders who are open to feedback, willing to test assumptions, and prepared to execute.
Yes. That's part of the value of the relationship. If we believe there is something that should be validated first, a simpler solution exists, or the proposed investment doesn't make sense yet, we'll say so.
Impact & Outcomes

Success isn't simply delivering a website, application, strategy, or automation. It's what that work enables the company to do next—validate demand, launch, generate revenue, lower costs, improve customer experience, operate more efficiently, or create a foundation for growth.
Yes. Our work has included launching MVPs in approximately four weeks, developing mobile products in roughly six weeks, helping an event brand generate more than $5,000 in ticket sales within its first days of launch, and helping Hands On Angel reduce software costs from nearly $1,000 per month to under $100 while supporting changes that increased monthly sales by approximately $6,000.
The appropriate measure depends on the engagement. We may track revenue, customer acquisition, conversion, recurring software savings, automation, time saved, product adoption, paid validation, operational efficiency, or other metrics tied to the original business objective.
No responsible company-building partner can guarantee how a market will respond. What we can do is build thoughtfully, reduce unnecessary risk, establish measurable objectives, learn from real-world results, and make better decisions from the information we collect.
Learning that an assumption is wrong can be an extremely valuable outcome—particularly if we discover it before the founder spends significant money building around it. Validation should give founders permission to proceed, refine, pivot, or stop.
Often, yes. Launch creates new information. We can continue helping founders interpret what happens in the market, improve the product, strengthen systems, automate processes, and determine what should happen next.
Our Case Studies section includes examples across software, events, professional services, marketplaces, local businesses, education, gaming, and other industries, showing both what was built and the business challenge behind it.
Hands On Angel
Partnership
Hands On Angel is a founder-focused advisory and media platform led by entrepreneur and investor Steve Walsh. It helps founders through strategic guidance, experience, relationships, fundraising expertise, education, and access to a broader entrepreneurial community.
T1 Atlas works alongside Hands On Angel to connect founder guidance with execution. Hands On Angel can help founders understand their challenges and priorities, while T1 Atlas can provide the strategy, technology, systems, and execution needed to act on them.
Hands On Angel is primarily focused on the founder—guidance, perspective, relationships, fundraising, education, and support. T1 Atlas is primarily focused on building and executing around the company. Together, they can help close the gap between knowing what should happen next and actually making it happen.
No. Founders can work directly with T1 Atlas, and some founders enter the ecosystem through Hands On Angel. The appropriate path depends on what the founder and company need.
Fundraising expertise is one of Hands On Angel's capabilities. However, not every company should raise outside capital, and fundraising shouldn't automatically be the next step simply because a founder wants to grow. The appropriate path depends on the business and its readiness.
Yes. That's one of the benefits of the relationship. When a founder identifies a priority through Hands On Angel that requires strategy, product development, technology, automation, launch infrastructure, or other execution, T1 Atlas can potentially provide the team to make it happen.
Yes. For the right engagement, the two teams can work together so the founder receives ongoing guidance while T1 Atlas supports execution. The exact structure depends on what the company needs.
Next Steps
Getting Started
Start with a conversation. Tell us what you're building, where the company is today, what you're trying to accomplish, and where you're getting stuck. We'll use that conversation to determine whether and how we can help.
No. You don't need everything figured out before talking with us. Some founders come with extensive plans and existing products; others have a compelling idea and a lot of unanswered questions.
Bring whatever helps us understand the company—your idea, existing product, customer feedback, pitch deck, website, financial assumptions, market research, current challenges, or simply the story of what you're trying to build. You don't need a perfect presentation.
If we believe we can help, we'll identify an appropriate next step. That could be additional discovery, validation, a defined project, an ongoing engagement, a Hands On Angel conversation, or another path based on what your company actually needs.
That's completely fine. In fact, we would rather understand the problem before you decide what service to buy. We start with your company—not our service list.
If you're seriously considering turning an idea into a company, it may not be too early. Involving the right people before making major technology, hiring, or spending decisions can prevent expensive mistakes later.
That's fine too. We can evaluate what's already working, identify gaps, and determine whether T1 should fill a specific capability, work alongside your team, or help address a larger strategic or execution challenge.
We'll tell you. Our goal isn't to force every founder into an engagement. If we believe you need something different, aren't ready for what we provide, or would be better served by another path, we'd rather be clear about that.
Tell us what you're building. Start a conversation with T1 Atlas and give us a little context about your company, your current stage, and what you're trying to accomplish. From there, we'll figure out the right next step together.
